Saugata Chatterjee
Saugata, better known to friends and family as Saugy, is an entrepreneur, who has just launched an app that brings dispersed communities together around shared interests. Apart from work, he is passionate about music, movies, literature, photography and art, and dabbles in all of above in various ways and avatars. He is 53 years old, lives in Bangalore with his partner, Sahana, and their German Shepherd, Dixie Pixie.
About my exhibits: Saugata's art experiments are notoriously impulsive and consequently hardly with him. They are, instead, scattered across friends' homes, gifted to strangers, etched in the walls of previous apartments, painted on top of now-discarded furniture. His photographs fare a little better, being archived across social media. Here are a few images of his art, and a few more of his photographs, curated from across the last two decades of his life.
