I learnt how to crochet during my junior high school days and ever since then found it to be a very relaxing hobby. My aunt and my maternal grandmother were my knitting inspirations. However, I enjoy crocheting more than knitting .
In majority of my crochet projects I try to keep my patterns quite simple with basic stitches, infusing colors to enhance the overall appearance. I love to experiment with both pastel tones and bold primary colors in all my projects.
A few years back I started beading, when my friend Kate ( Rijackie Ledum, quite an artist herself) inspired me to do so. I have to agree, I slowly fell in love with beading. Similar to my crochet patterns I keep my designs fairly simple while playing with colors. I am also a big fan of recycling beads from old unused jewelry to give it a new look.
